Design Statement
Master Bedroom Presentation Board
The Master Bedroom was inspired from the Calla Lily painitng of Rex Patrick provided by the client's wish of a modern and luxury bedroom for a family live in the inner city of Melbounrne. Lux and Glamour were used to apply for the theme of the bedroom, this including beautiful functionality natural materials and a creative use of colour to achieve comfortable space. The space was designed for relaxation and privately dominated by the use of bold colour, texture and pattern. The bedhead used contemporised velvet damask fabric to produce a luxury feel. Gold damask and white geometric fabric were used on cushions and throw rug for the bedding creates strong contrast and definition against navy quilt cover that adds a uplifting feel to the interior space. An overall impression of simple, luxury and comtemporary space invites the clients to a relax space after work.
